Eastern Iowa Industrial Center (EIIC), first certified in 2015 with 186 acres, offers a remaining 27 acres of State of Iowa Certified, development ready lots suitable for manufacturing, logistics and warehouse operations. The EIIC, zoned light industrial, is conveniently located on Interstate Route 80 and offers easy access to major cities in the Midwest. The site was recertified in 2021.
The EIIC also has access to multi-model transportation including a new transload rail facility on site and available for use.
As a certified site, engineering due diligence studies are complete and available for prospective buyer’s review. Studies include Phase I Environmental Assessment, National Wetlands Inventory, Wetlands Delineation Report, Phase One Archeological, Geotechnical, Soil and Topographic Surveys. Also on site is a world Class Technology Center that offers custom employee training programs offered by the Eastern Iowa Community College. The land is owned by the Greater Davenport Redevelopment Corporation (GDRC). GDRC is a nonprofit, public private partnership. The partners include the city of Davenport, Scott County and the private sector.
